I am a little late with this review, but our local drugstore still sells this November through January limited edition by Catrice called Kaviar Gauche. Kaviar Gauche is German bridal couture brand that Catrice collaborated with already and I feel they'll do more together in the future. These collection always have the prettiest design and very wearable shades.
Pressed Pigment Palette C01 Crystal Collection
Packaging
I can't tell you how gorgeous this packaging is, because photos don't do it justice. It's fairly well made, thicker packaging with metallic gold color and statement 3D lid made of rhinestones and studs. It looks gorgeous in person, a true collectable piece. This has to be one of the most impressive packaging I have seen from Catrice so far. Inside is also mirror which is pretty big.
In it is 10g of product and it costs around 10€.
Formula
Eyeshadow palette has 9 shades, some are matte, some shimmery, others satin and two glitters. Mattes are extremely soft and buttery. Shimmery and satin shades have the same buttery formula, but some are even wetter to the touch, more creamy. Two glitter shades come in a creamy base. Top layer is dry and you immediately think this is loose glitter pressed in, but once you get through the top layer, you notice creamy base underneath.
Pigmentation in general is good, but none of the shades really pack a punch - then again, they are all very neutral everyday shades, no crazy vibrant colors.
Colors
It's a very neutral everyday colored eyeshadow palette that will suit most light to medium skin tones. There are mostly neutral browns, with some pinks and mauves and two glitter shades to glam it up.
1 - cool silver glitter
2 - satin light warm dusty pink
3 - satin medium warm coral pink
4 - matte light warm saddle brown
5 - matte light warm bone nude
6 - satin medium neutral brown with mauve sheen
7 - shimmery light neutral champagne
8 - neutral champagne pink glitter
9 - medium neutral chocolate brown
I love all matte shades which are perfect for a simple crease look. Satin shades are nice too, but I would prefer something more shimmery and metallic, that's just more my personal taste. Glitter shades don't perform as I thought they would, so I probably won't use them.
Performance
All shimmery, satin and matte shades blend out like a dream, which also means they can look a bit blended together and similar. Satin shades are perfect for subtle everyday sheen on the lids that is very understated. Two glitters that come in creamy base crease badly. I applied them over eyeshadow primer and it didn't seem to help. I even put some Duraline on top and it still creased. If you have hooded eyes you will hate them. For me those two glitters are a waste in that palette, I would prefer some more metallic shades. I was most excited about these two, but they just don't work on my oily hooded lids.
With eyeshadow primer they stay on the lid (except for glitters), but the intensity fades and shades blend together - tend to look similar.

Highlighter C01 Glow Couture
Packaging
Another really pretty designed packaging with gold metallic and shimmery gold lid. Inside is also a descent sized mirror.
In it is 8.7 grams of product and it costs around 6€.
Formula
This is that new highlighter formula that Catrice came out with recently. It's very wet and creamy, but harder to pick up with a brush. Pigmentation is good.
It looks rose in the packaging, but it's actually more of a champagne color with rose base. Sheen on top is fairly neutral and leans more on silver side. The base of it is more rose toned, so if you apply it heavy you can get that rose undertone that will be too dark for fair skin. But with a brush you mostly pick up just that neutral champagne shine.
Performance
Shimmer is small enough, but it's very reflective, so it will emphasize any texture. It has good staying power, but definitely fades a bit through the day.
Packaging
Brush has plastic gold metallic holder and synthetic dark brown bristles. Bristles are very soft and fairly dense. It has straight cut top. Essentially, it's a small kabuki sized brush.
It costs around 6€.
It says it can be used for liquid and powder formulas, I only tried it with powder and it applied nicely, but I prefer tapered brushes, because they blend product easier. I think this one would actually be better for creams, especially light application of foundation. It's also perfect for mineral powder.
This is a very well designed collection. Packaging is a statement piece, but the formulas are fairly basic - in a good way. If you like very everyday eyeshadow shades which blend without any effort and there aren't any crazy shades, you will love eyeshadow palette. Highlighter is also nice, but the formula is very creamy, so it's harder to apply it with a brush. If you have a lot of texture on your skin, you won't like this one. Brush is ok, but I personally prefer something more tapered. Eyeshadow packaging is just so pretty that I definitely won't get rid of it, I'll try to repurpose it even when the eyeshadows go bad, because it's that pretty.
