Willy Paul vs. Ringtone Apoko Beef Explained

Willy Paul and Ringtone Apoko Beef

Kenyan musician Willy Paul has once again come out guns blazing to deal with longtime nemesis, yet another controversial singer Ringtone, for trashing his song Nikune, featuring Nadia Mukami. For some reason the two have been throwing shade at each other on Instagram.

The beef all kicked off  when Ringtone publicly come out to denounce Poze as not fit for the gospel industry.

He said there is a certain standard that gospel musicians have to uphold, seemingly assuming the role of determining that standard.

Ringtone has many times called out Willy Paul, saying he feels Willy Paul has disrespected Christians.

Willy Paul and Nandy

Their feud all started when Willy Paul dropped a song featuring Nandy from Tanzania, 'Halleluja'.

In a scathing post on Instagram, Ringtone went hard on Willy Paul.

"So Willy Paul today I just want to address you over your song because I feel that you have disrespected our God," he wrote.

"Willy Paul, Nandy is not your wife. You’re touching her private parts, she is twerking at you and you’re saying hallelujah."

He also claimed that Nandy aborted Willy Paul’s baby. Ringtone claimed the story originated from Willy Paul.

In another instance, he shared a photo of a shirtless Willy Paul and branded him a dark force in the gospel industry.

Ringtone even went ahead to offer Ksh 50,000 to anyone who will be able to bed Willy Paul’s sister or cousin. He went on to add that the money will only be paid after the proof is shared on social media – just to keep Willy Paul at his place.

The Nikune collabo in which they talk about how they are going to serve each other goodies on bed, or rather ''kukunana'' was received well by a section of Kenyans who agreed it was a definite hit.
Many were not surprised by Pozee's content in the new song since he had switched from gospel long time ago and pitched camp in the secular world. However, there was a group which was not pleased by the collabo including Pozee's longtime rival, Ringtone Apoko.

Taking to social media to react over the collabo barely hours after its release, Ringtone accused Willy of misleading fans by feeding their souls with dirt and pe*version. He held the singer who used to do deliverance for people was now putting his hands under their skirts and leading them to hell.

Well, unlike Ringtone – singer Willy Paul went all out throwing insults just to keep the beef going.

As far as faking is concerned, Willy Paul seems to be taking things a-bit too far; and now some fans are no longer feeling this vibe.

Ringtone even issued his last offer through his Instagram where he has promised to give Pozee Ksh 500,000 just to pull down his evil song.
Willy Paul claimed Ringtone's comments were personal attack on him and said this in his defense in an instagram post. Willy paul's new tik tok music video is now available on YouTube.

But all in all a reliable source has gone ahead to confirm that Pozee and Ringtone are actually good friends off social media; and have been doing this to entertain fans from both camps!

If this is true then I guess all the money being ‘thrown’ around on social media is just another scam to prove that money is not a problem!
