Still a good time to be alive, it seems.
Since they teamed up to deliver the What A Time To Be Alive project in 2015, Drake and Future have been laying the groundwork for a sequel to the bombastic album. True, the former was not so deep, with both parties essentially enjoying their luxurious lifestyles, finding common ground in materialism.
Fortunately, they did so with fine production, with their respective charisma meters swinging high. For this reason, many still look fondly on WATTBA, and not only accepted a sequel but actively awaited it.
Fortunately, all signs point to some new developments in WATTBA2 in 2020. After months of triggering the sequel, including some behind-the-scenes footage of an upcoming video recording, Drizzy has officially given the audience something to dream about. Going to IG, Drake shared an art story for "Life Is Good," a new single from him and Future . To be fair, it is not clear whether the single is scheduled to be a chapter of a larger project or an independent piece - anyway, something to look forward to.
Judging by the title, which resembles Nas's album of the same name, it seems that the celebration of life will continue to be the main theme that our heroes choose to explore. Given all the new and sophisticated toys Drake has acquired since the first album - an airplane, a giant mansion with custom basketball court and so on - rappers will have plenty to boast about this new project.
